Main features
Axitea carries out a preliminary operational feasibility check to rule out any flight restrictions in the area to be monitored and request any authorisations required from ENAC (“Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile”, “Italian Civil Aviation Authority”) to carry out flight operations over the area of interest.
The service includes a guard in the vicinity of the area to be monitored, in accordance with regulatory requirements, from where a licensed operator can keep an eye on flight operations.
Patrolling can take place over large areas, providing complete coverage of the zone, through predefined routes at pre-set times, or through missions triggered by external alarms and sensors.
The use of professional devices with high-resolution dual cameras, one optical and one thermal, allows inspection missions to be carried out at any time of the day, even in adverse weather conditions with poor visibility such as fog.
Once the patrol is over, the drones are housed in special stations for sheltering and recharging their batteries until the next mission.
The footage is sent to a Control Room located near the site and viewed and analysed by an operator, in full compliance with ENAC regulations for the authorisation of flights over the area to be monitored and for the safety of goods and people. The operator then verifies the images and in the event of a confirmed intrusion requests the immediate intervention of patrols at the exact location of the intrusion.
