Ensuring store security in VF Italy Retail multibrand stores
Context
Regardless of the store size, the retail world has to face a critical issues: inventory differences, which amount to over 49 billion Euro of losses every year in Europe for retailers (2.05% of the annual retail sector turnover).
The most common crimes causing inventory losses include shoplifting, thefts and fraud.
VF Italy Retail srl, a multibrand company – Lee, Wrangler, Timberland, The North Face, Napapijri, Vans e Kipling – with over 50 stores in Italy, started working with Axitea to increase their security level and reduce the risk of inventory losses.

The collaboration with Axitea started out to meet the security needs of several VF Italia s.r.l. stores.
Targets achieved
Theft and fraud prevention, store control, sales employees protection and reduction of inventory losses: all this has been achieved through tailored-made solutions for each store, in order to promptly meet VF Italy Retail’s security needs.
The project
Cutting-edge and non-invasive security solutions were implemented inside the stores to protect the site and the goods, in connection with Axitea’s Security Operation Center, which monitors the alarms from the security system 7/24/365.
Axitea’s SOC - Security Operation Center - triggers suitable security operating procedures when an alarm is triggered, based on the situation.
When necessary, the procedure entails the intervention of Axitea’s patrols, and, in specific cases, alerting the Police.
Other services
In addition, doorman and customer reception services are carried out - such as in the Quadrilatero della Moda stores - and also stakeout services by Axitea staff, to prevent and tackle unsafe access.
