Axitea renews and extends its Ayuto personal security offering

The Italian global security provider enriches its range of services for businesses with new configurations for security at your fingertips and protection 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Milan, 20 July 2021 – Employees who work night shifts; workers stationed in remote and isolated locations; personnel working in special conditions of travel or relocation: there are many situations that put the personal safety of certain professional categories at risk and these occur frequently, compounded by the uncertainty of how to behave and protect oneself in the event of aggression or danger, in compliance with the regulations in force.

This is why Axitea, the Italian global security provider, has decided to offer a concrete answer to these critical issues with its Ayuto personal security offer, now further renewed and expanded.

Ayuto is an advanced and professional service for distress calls using a pocket-sized device, now available in a standard version and optimised for critical environments, constantly monitored 24 hours a day/365 days a year by Axitea’s Security Operation Center. It is a unique service in that it is totally independent of any existing corporate security system, but at the same time capable of integrating multiple functionalities and configurations for different types of users:

• Anti-aggression: ideal for workers on the move, pressing the device’s distress button causes an ‘Aggression’ alert to be sent to the Axitea SOC with the geographic (GPS) coordinates of the last position detected by the device. A SOC operator will immediately verify the event through silent listening and, once the alarm has been verified, will contact the urgent contact details defined with the customer and, if necessary, alert the police.
• Anti-robbery: linked to the place of service delivery (and not to the person, like the anti-aggression configuration), it allows employees to send a robbery alarm signal to the Axitea SOC by pressing the distress button. The SOC, following verification by silent listening, can alert the police.
• SOS – isolated worker: designed for people working in isolated conditions, a simple press of the distress button causes an alarm signal to be sent to the Axitea SOC, where the operator will verify the call for help via a hands-free call on the device.
• SOS – isolated worker in critical environments: similar to the previous one, but in this case the alarm signal can be generated automatically by the device in the event of a fall to the ground due to illness or injury (‘Man Down’ function) or lack of movement for a prolonged period (‘No Movement’ function).

With this in mind, Ayuto provides security for individuals seeking support for their own safety, as well as for businesses and entrepreneurs concerned about the safety of their employees, by placing GDSP (Global Data Service Platform) technology at the heart of the service. With this, the device is able to connect to the telephone operator with a better signal, guaranteeing maximum coverage wherever it is located, and the greater localisation accuracy provided by GNSS (global navigation satellite system).
