Thanks to Axitea’s support, the firm was able to obtain ISO27001 certification, which defines the requirements for setting up and administering a data security management system.
Obtaining an accredited ISO27001 certification allows a company to demonstrate that it is indeed following the best practices with regard to information security and that it is able to provide an independent and qualified audit of its processes.

To facilitate consistent integration and compliance of each of the above aspects, Axitea supported the law firm Gattai, Minoli & Partners with a series of advanced security services. In this way, the customer was able to operate safely, relying on state-of-the-art technological solutions, according to a holistic approach, aimed at protecting all assets and functional to the firm’s strategic business.

– What were the special requirements of the law firm Gattai, Minoli & Partners? What specific requirements were identified at the design stage?

The initial need of the firm was to ensure protection of the firm’s assets, PCs and Servers, which would be combined with a 24-hour managed service that would therefore improve the protection management both from a technological point of view and in terms of readiness to solve any problems.

Axitea’s experts have offered their technological expertise to the firm’s professionals since 2017, in a partnership that has grown over time.
Today, the company provides multiple services, including training, antispam and anti-malware protection, as well as server and endpoint encryption, SOC as a Service and Data Encryption and Data Loss Prevention.

Through the Full Protection package, Axitea protects professionals and employees in the Milan and Rome offices, enabling them to operate safely. The remote monitoring offered by Axitea’s specialists enables real-time alarm and incident management, with immediate intervention aimed at eliminating any possible risk.

– Why was the ‘Full Protection’ package chosen? What are the special aspects of this solution?

The Full Protection module combines the effectiveness of the Axitea SOC’s 24-hour monitoring with a tried and tested incident management process, offering advanced protection to all company workstations (PCs, laptops, servers) and intervening immediately to block and remove both known threats and the most advanced malware not detected by traditional defence systems (antivirus, etc.).

– More than a year later, how is the collaboration progressing? Have services been integrated? Have additional activities with respect to those agreed upon during the start-up phase been carried out?

The collaboration with the firm expanded considerably after the first service was activated; in fact, Axitea verified with them the need to expand the cyber protection offered in this age of digital information transformation by integrating the services required to protect/monitor every possible asset and technology involved.

To this end, we activated Anti-SPAM services, a mobile device protection service, an event monitoring service, and an ongoing Vulnerability Assessment; last but not least, we supported the law firm in achieving ISO27001 certification by supporting the firm’s contacts with our DPO and CISO as a service.
