The solution involves the installation of digital weight sensors on board the vehicles, capable of communicating the transported volume in real time. These IoT sensors are connected to the internet and transmit data to a proprietary web platform developed by Axitea. In particular, changes in the weighing sensor are read in real time and recorded in reports that can be read and downloaded from the platform itself. In addition to the weight, it is possible to monitor the volume via a volumetric sensor, which likewise detects the transported volume and transmits it to the management web platform. The transmitted data set includes the geolocation of the vehicles.The data collected allows the operator managing the fleet to monitor the filling of the vehicles in real time, so if necessary he can contact the driver to quickly change routes.In addition to real-time visualisation of the load volume of each vehicle, the platform also offers data archiving, so that no information is lost and it is possible to go back in time to carry out any checks, possibly even generating a report of the historical data.\u00a0The platform is easy to use, requires no special training, and allows the user to view reports, graphs and a map with real-time positioning of bins and skips.A final aspect that should not be underestimated is integration with other corporate fleet management systems.
